Meet Scott Greatrex
I work with people who are used to being relied on.
For more than two decades, I’ve operated in senior leadership roles across banking, finance and commercial advisory including as a Managing Director in high-pressure, financially exposed environments.
I hold qualifications in counselling, business and finance.
I understand responsibility.
I’ve led organisations through restructuring and conflict. I’ve managed complex financial exposure where decisions carried consequence. I’ve competed in endurance sport where discipline and composure matter. And I’ve carried personal loss while still being expected to lead and provide.
There were periods where the message was simple: stay strong, keep going.
That works, until it doesn’t.
I trained formally in counselling because I recognised the gap. Capable professionals often have advisers for strategy and numbers but no confidential space to process the internal cost of responsibility.
My work blends therapeutic training with lived commercial and performance experience. It is steady, structured and commercially aware without crossing into financial advice or operational consulting.
This practice is for people who are functioning but know they shouldn’t carry it alone.
The Framework
The work often follows a simple progression:
Reset
Slow the pressure down. Create space. Stabilise.Rethink
Clarify thinking. Examine patterns. Challenge assumptions.Recover
Address the emotional toll — stress, conflict, grief, financial strain.Rebuild
Move forward with clarity, steadiness and sound judgement.
Find steadiness under pressure.
A confidential space to slow down, think clearly, and move forward without judgement.
